Learning to Listen to Our Inner Guidance

Today I am sharing this very important topic with you because this is the key to well-being or suffering. Every time we don't listen to our inner wisdom we abandon ourselves by falling into destructive paths and patterns that lead us to anxiety, depression, anger and sickness. It is in our hands to wander away or to go back to our heart's center. Listening to our inner guidance is the most loving, kind and compassionate thing we can do for ourselves.

How to change old behavioral patterns:

Most of the time it is not easy to break with our old patterns. Therefore, often a process is required to bring change to our lives. Since we learn by repetition the most effective way to break the old patterns is by introducing new practices and keep repeating them until the old ones are transformed/transcended.

For example, if we are having negative thinking then a good exercise is that as soon as we realize that we are thinking negative we invite into our mind at least one positive thought. Something simple like, "I love that cup of coffee that I drank this morning," something that makes you feel good and grateful (do not reject the negative thought or you will re-enforce it, replace it by a great one). Keep repeating this every single time, and soon you will realize that you are training/reprograming your mind to feel good, to think positive. Gratefulness is one of the most elevated states of being, it is a healing energy.

The more we keep ourselves in a state of wellbeing the more elevated we are, and it is in that elevated state that we are opening the doors to communicate with our spirit guides. They are not going to lower their vibrational frequencies we have to elevate ours.

Bringing into our lives positive thinking and affirmations are only the first steps, then we have to find practices of meditation that make us feel well, either sitting, walking, doing one conscious breathing every time we remember, etc and sence that these practices are bringing wellbeing into our life. To the point that meditation becomes a state of being and not a doing. As long as it is a doing, we are forcing ourselves to do something, we are looking for a goal.

Once we bring ourselves to the realization that we are giving the gift of well-being to ourselves then we stop looking for an outcome and start being. It is a state in which we are at easy (serene, peaceful, calm) with what is. In that state of being we free ourselves from the clutter mind that is always seeking and find ourselves absolutely living and enjoying the present moment. Only in the now is when we make ourselves available to receive Universal Guidance. If we are constantly looking or seeking for something, then we cannot see what we are not looking for. It will remain hidden. Look for nothing and let ourselves simply Be.

Conversations with the Beings of Light:

The Beings of Light said to me,

“Every single thought is energy, so anything that you have created with your thoughts is energy as well, including your manifested self. For anything more to manifest, you have to be mentally, psychologically and emotionally ready. Only when all the ingredients to make a cake are put together can the cake be baked and then eaten.”

“But why do bad moments like today manifest? I wasn’t asking for this to happen!” I stated.

“Nothing is bad or good, everything just has different vibrational frequencies. Like a radio, you will be synchronized with the radio station to which you set the dial. Sometimes you may not like what you hear but that doesn’t mean it is bad, it only means that you don’t resonate with it. The important thing is to know that there are infinite choices, and when you don’t resonate with something you always have the power to reset the dial.”

“But how can I avoid suffering in the meanwhile?” I wondered.

“Suffering is not a bad thing, it is just a doorway that can lead you toward what you really want. Sometimes the only way to know if you resonate or not with something is through experience. Knowing what you don’t want will always redirect you toward what you want. But it takes time to break old patterns and realign yourself with what you truly desire.”

“How do I realign myself?” I asked.

“Disconnect from the past and find joy in the now. When you are in a state of joy, the joyful things that you are ready to receive will unfold and manifest.”

From the moment she drowned in a tank of cold water at the age of nearly three, Ingrid was aware of other dimensions of life than those most of us normally experience. She was also gifted with the wise input of “Beings of Light.”

"Only when I was a little older could I understand that the Beings of Light had started to teach me faith and trust. All problems could be resolved if I’d just allow myself to rest calmly in the caring hands of Divine Guidance; but I was very resistant, and that resistance would bring a great deal of pain in my life."
